A Warm Welcome To You!!

Postby czarina on Wed Nov 28, 2007 3:34 pm

Hello,

I'm ecstatic to welcome you to the Saltwater-Aquarium-Online-Guide.com's message board! I hope that these forums help us all to be successfull in aquarium keeping.

I would love to see SWAOG Forums to be a warm, friendly spot where friends come to help others. Also the place that you turn to when you have saltwater aquarium and fish questions and you need answers. I would also love to see "the helped" return and help someone else. "Help and be helped!"

And for those who are more experienced in this hobby, please help those that are less experienced and let me know if you'd like to be a moderator of the forums and I'd be glad to have you on the team.

Some folks are intimidated by forums. But we're all friends here and these forums are really simple to use. We've organized forum topics. If you have any suggestions on how to better our forums - please post it here. I would be happy to put your suggestions in place!!

To start a new thread in any forum, just click into that forum and then click on the Image button.

To reply to a post, just click into a forum then click on the topic and you should see a reply box on the bottom left corner of the post. OR and click the Image button.

When to REPLY, as opposed to when to START a new thread? Create a new topic only when none of the existing threads in any forum fits the content of your post.

A few guidelines to help things run smoothly and friendly...

1) Read the faq -- it's a great orientation that will bring you quickly up-to-speed (if this is new to you).

2) Do a search -- as the forums grow, you'll find that your question has already been asked and answered. Do a search for your question before asking, especially if it seems to you "that someone has probably asked this in the past." Search for posts, not topics and use "all words."

Searching is important. Spend some time figuring out how to search and you'll get the best out of these forums.

Again, welcome to The Place For Friendly Saltwater Aquarium and Fish Discussion!

Enjoy. Learn. Help and be helped!!

All the best,
